Indonesia Bashing again!
Just got this from one of the feeds:
"(Banda Aceh, Indonesia-AP) May 8, 2005 - The number two US diplomat says he has received assurances from Indonesian officials that the billions of dollars pledged for tsunami relief would not be lost to corruption. "
Who on earth does the number two Diplomat (Robert Zoellick ) think steals all the money? The common people or the high up officials???
"Zoellick says he had gotten assurances from local officials that they would be "extremely careful" with the money. "
Well they are hardly gonna tell Uncle Sam that they are off to buy property in Perth or play the tables in Vegas now are they? Normally (IMF stats) 60-75% of all aid monies go directly into ministers' pockets with only about 8% ever being used legitemately.
When will the world and our governments stop creating Mega Rich Corrupt Asian people?
